What’s better than avocado toast, light filtering through bright windows, lots of plants and Australian accents?
I have been SO excited for today’s post because I’m finally getting to share photos from the cutest little brunch and coffee place I’ve ever seen. And I mean ever.
Bluestone Lane is the happiest little Aussie shop in DC. It’s totally photo-worthy (which is always a bonus, right?!). I also love that it’s sit-down (while also allowing the option for you to grab a quick coffee and pastry at the counter if you’re in a rush), and the servers are so sweet…a couple even have Australian accents!
Also, can we just take a moment and appreciate this cute leaf wallpaper?! I would plaster my entire house in this if I could haha! The interior is just so beautiful, and the green and seafoam-blue accents, combined with lots of greenery create such a calming atmosphere.
They also had gorgeous pictures of the Australian shoreline (I was honestly about to run out of the shop with one under each arm haha)! Does anyone else get alllll the summer vibes the second you see pictures of the ocean…or is that just me?
The decor is not the only thing Bluestone Lane gets right. Their menu is filled with lots of fresh and reimagined items (some Aussie, some not)…so there’s something for everyone! We ordered a coffee, a breakfast scramble and avocado toast; all of which were incredible.
The avocado toast was my personal favorite: a toasted slice of thick, chewy bread topped with seasoned avocado, fresh tomatoes, feta cheese and arugula…as my first avocado toast ever, it definitely did not disappoint.
If you ever have the opportunity to stop by Bluestone Lane, I would highly recommend taking full advantage of it. Not only is the food to die for, but the experience is just so much fun (it’s like getting a little taste of Australia)…and the aesthetic will make all of your Instagram dreams come true!
And who knows…you might just see me there too, because goodness knows nothing can keep me away from cute plants and lots of avocado toast haha!
